Gold Glitter Box

I really love for things to sparkle and shine and especially at Christmas.  This box is from the Cricut project center, it is by Anna Griffin.  It is made with glitter paper and gold shimmer paper (which does not photograph well!).

Tree box with Tags

For this project I I used this little tree box from the Silhouette store.  I added the line around the lid and made it thicker to stand out.  I did some in other colors also I just didn't photograph them before they were given away sorry.  The box is sized at about 5.5" and the lid is a print and cut.

The tags were made with my Cricut, you can find this in the project center.  I made 12 of them and they fit in this little box perfectly.  The sentiment on them is a print and cut.

Happy Pawlidays Card

I really love shaped cards, I just think they are so fun.  This cute little guy is from Rob and Bob for Cricut.  I bought this image last year and am just now getting around to making it...thats how I roll lately!   Anyway the bow is made with gold shimmer paper it just won't photograph well.  I just cut a piece of wire and bent it to make the ring to hold his tag.

Joy to You Card

I made this card with my cricut and an Anna Griffin file.  The wreath and sentiment were print and cut and I added gold stickles to some of the gold dots.  It was a little hard to photograph this and the gold shimmer paper looks flat instead of shimmery.  It is much prettier in person I promise!

Christmas Tags and Box

For my project today I made a box full of little gift tags.  They are all from the Silhouette store by Lori Whitlock.  I sized the tags to fit into the little sections of the box at 2.6 high (it is a candy box and the sections are removable).   I sized the box as big as i could to fit on the mat at 9.088 for the lid of the box.  I added stickles and chalk for the cheeks.

12 Days of Christmas

Welcome to our 12 Days of Christmas Giveway!

Thank you for joining us on
Day #11

Here is my project for today!

For my card today I used the fun Christmas Snowman Tophat Cupcake.  I added stickles to his nose and hat and put him on foam tape also the cupcake base is on foam tape.  The snowflakes were punched out of glitter paper from two different punches.  The stamp is from a retired set.

Cameo 3

I don't normally do this...but I am so frustrated right now.  I bought the new cameo 3 last week did all the machine and software updates but nothing works.  I did the online chat (since they no longer care to talk to their customers!) last week and again today for an hour and 20 minutes just today and that is after spending almost 4 hours trying to figure it out myself.  It won't work and it won't work connected with the cable.  I have spent so much money with Silhouette over the years and been a huge supporter of them but this is crazy!!
They won't even talk to you!!
Finally they said they would have someone call me because I kept asking and they couldn't resolve my issues but it won't be for several days.
I'm going back to Cricut!

Gratitude Journal

I love when you can take a plain little journal or book and turn it into something so different.  That is what I did here.  This is a gratitude journal.  I made this with my friend Sue and she designed the cut files for it.  The sentiments were printed.  Check out the cute little metal acorn on the ribbon.

Tags

These little tags were so quick and easy to make and yet I think they are pretty cute.  They were made with designer paper.  The little quilt block star was just hand cut out of the dp.  The sentiments were printed.

Snowman Peeker Card

Hey everyone I hope you are having a great day!  It is so sunny and nice here...no snow!  What we had melted so the ski resorts are in bad shape.
This super fun new Snowman Peeker card will be in the SVG Cutting Files store this Friday so make sure to pick it up, it is so cute and easy to make.  You can get it here.
As you can tell I had fun making it (4 so far).  I wanted to try different colors and I can't decide which one I like best.  The snowman was cut out of glitter paper which made him really sparkly and cute but ruined my blade and mat.

Thanks Fall Box

OOPS!!!  I completely forgot to post this before Thanksgiving...sorry!!  This would be a perfect little box to give a thank you to someone in or change the thanks stamp and make it a fall birthday gift box.  The file for this is from Cricut in the projects section.  It was so easy to make and I really love the leaf cutouts.

Present Treat Box

This cute little bag was also for our girls trip.  For more info on this go to this blog post here.  Or just scroll back a few posts.

This is from the Silhouette store and so super easy to make, remember I had to do easy because some of my girls (who shall remain nameless) are not as crafty as others.
I added foam dots to the light pink bow piece for added dimension.

Cupcake Birthday Card

Here is another card from our girls trip.  It is from Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette store.
To see the other cards from our trip go here, here and here.

I added foam tape to the layers for dimension and cut the cherry out 2 times and glued one flat and the other has foam tape.

Birthday Cake Card

Okay here is the 3rd card from the girls trip cards.  For more info on this go to this blog post and this one, or just scroll back.

This is such a fun card because it is simple to make and a box card.  The sentiment even came with the file so it was a print and cut.

Thanks Card and Treat Box

I was asked to be a guest designer over at Die Cuttin Divas and of course I said YES!   The theme is thanks or a turkey...well I had to do both.
The first is a box card from Lori Whitlock in the Silhouette store.  I love these box cards they are easy to make and have a bit of a wow factor.  For my second project I made a treat box, it is also from the Silhouette store.
So make sure to head over to Die Cuttin Divas to check out all the cuteness!!

Birthday Card

My 4 daughters and 2 daughters in law are going on a girls weekend this next week.  You know the drill pedicures, nice dinner, movie, hiking, swimming, biking, escape room (we love these and are very good at it, we solve them every time, hope I didn't just jinx us!), games, movies and NO KIDS.  I am a little sad that my littles won't be there but their moms ARE NOT!!!

So one of the things we always do when we get together is make cards and things so I will be posting a few of the things that I made for the girls to make over the next week or so.  I did a birthday theme because you can never have enough birthday cards!

This is a super simple card to make, I went simple because I have a wide range of talents and abilities in these girls.   This is from the Silhouette store and super quick and easy to make but still a fun card.

Dog Mini Album

Sorry I haven't been posting as much, life has just been so crazy lately.  I actually made this little mini album awhile ago and am just now getting around to posting it.  I made this for my Mom for her birthday.  She has two little dogs that I swear she loves more than her kids...just saying.  They get away with so much more than we did as kids.  Anyway I hope she likes it.

I used the Echo Park paper Bark (I love this paper, it is so cute!).  The album measures 4.75" by 6.25" and the spine is 1.75".  There are 5 pages in this alum some have pockets on the front and back with a pull out tag from the top, others have a side pull out.  The little cards in the pockets were made using the cut a parts sheet of paper (that is what is on the front cover also).  The top pull out tags are from Ranger and the ones in the front were made with the tag topper punch from Stampin Up.  I got the inspiration for this from Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper.

This is the inside cover and first page

These are the tags from the top of the book they are all the same size just different papers

This is the side pull out so one page has a tag in the top and one is a side pull out
