Great News at My Craft Spot!

Thanks to all of you, My Craft Spot blog has grown until it is bursting at the seams!  Kimberly has so many fun stamps, metal dies, ribbon and twine colors, that her little blog can no longer hold it all.  So . . .  she just had to make a new website for My Craft Spot store

To make shopping at My Craft Spot easier, she has separated the online store from her blog.

Her blog will still be full of great inspiration and fun challenges with prizes, but when you want to shop, everything will be so much easier to find! The new store is organized by product type, searchable, and has a shopping cart.

Leave a comment on My Craft Spot blog letting her know what you think of the new store for a chance to win the Build  A Valentine stamp set!

Birthday Wishes Gift Purse

You know how much I love little gift bags and boxes, and this one is no exception!  It is so cute and super easy to make, it is from the Silhouette Store.  The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set, both from My Craft Spot.  I tied it all on with crinkle ribbon and some twine.  The paper is from My Minds Eye, love it!  These would be great to make a party favors, since they are so quick and easy and you can get 2 out of a sheet of 12x12 paper.

Bow Box

This bow box is also from the Silhouette Store and I shrunk it down to get the base out of one sheet of paper.  These are Christmas papers even though they don't look like it, they are from the crate paper Snow Day set. For this box, you are supposed to fill it then slid the base bow together then glue the accent bows on.  When you do this the only way to get into it is to tear open the box.  So I assembled it all and just put a couple of glue dots in between the bows instead of interlocking them.

The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Mistletoe stamp set both from My Craft Spot.

Stacking Puzzle

This fun little stacking puzzle was a free file from the Silhouette Store
if you didn't get you still can, you just have to pay 75 cents for it.  I thought my little ones would have fun with it.

Santa Stocking Card

I have been so busy trying to catch up from being gone and then watching my 3 little grandsons for a week I haven't made very many Christmas things :(
This cut file is from the Silhouette Store, I shrunk it down a ton!  It is supposed to be about 11" tall, I didn't want it that big.  I wanted it to fit in an A2 envelope so I sized it accordingly.

The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Mistletoe stamp set.  The inside of the card was stamped with the Joy Filled Christmas stamp set, all of these items are from My Craft Spot.

The card opens by turning on the brad, so easy and a fun way to make it different.

Treat Box

This is a fun little treat box, it is like those crackers you open on Christmas.  One side fits into the other, so you don't have to tear it open.  It is a file from the Silhouette Store.  The tags were made using the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with the Mistletoe and Joy To The World stamps all from My Craft Spot.

The tag was made with the Ribbon Banners - Straight Metal Dies and stamped with the Joy Filled Christmas stamp set both from My Craft Spot.

Santa Pants Treat Holder

This is a file from the Silhouette Store, I shrunk it down so I could cute both of the boxes out of one sheet of paper.  I cut the buckle and the fasteners for the suspenders out of glitter paper, and attached with a glitter brad.  The tag was punched with some SU punches and stamped with a stamp from the Jingle All The Way stamp set from My Craft Spot.

Gingerbread Girl Gift Bag

I just love fun gift bags and boxes they just add to the gift so much.  For this box I used the A2 Card Base Landscape file from SVG Cutting Files sized for the A2 size cards.  The gingerbread girl is from the Holiday Antibacterial Soap Holders file also from SVG Cutting Files and I just sized her to fit the front of the box.  This box can hold cards or cookies or just about anything you can think of.   I'm going to put gingerbread cookies in it.

The tag was made with the Ribbon Banners - Straight Metal Dies and stamped with a stamp from the Joy Filled Christmas set both from My Craft Spot.

Gift Box

Time for another Monday Challenge over at My Craft Spot, the theme for this week is Wrap It Up!  How perfect is that?!  We are all in the process of wrapping things up so this is an easy one to do.  For my project, I used a pre made box, how easy is that?  I just decorated the front of the box and added the ribbon and bows.  For the banner I used Tiny Banners & Toppers Dies and stamped them with the Chunky alphabet stamps.  The tag was made with the Jar Basics dies and stamped with at stamp from the Mistletoe stamp set.  All these products are from My Craft Spot.

Snowman Gift Bag

It's time for a new monthly challenge over at SVG Cutting Files, the challenge this month is anything Holiday or Winter.

This little bag is so versatile and fun, it is the new A2 Base Bag Landscape from SVG Cutting Files, get it here.   I did size it down a bit, it holds 3-4 packets of cocoa mix put in sideways.  The snowman on the front is from the Holiday Antibacterial Soap Holders, get it here.

The tag was made with the Ribbon Banners - Straight Metal Dies and stamped with the Think Snow stamp set both from My Craft Spot.

Hand Sanitizer Gift Holders

If you are like me, it seems you always need little gifts for someone.  So it's nice to make some up and just have them on hand, these are perfect for that.  This is a fun file from SVG Cutting Files called Holiday Antibacterial Soap Holder,  you can get it here.  One hint I would give you, is to measure your bottles before you cut these out to make sure they fit.  There are so many different size bottles out there.  The sentiments are from the Jingle all The Way and Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp sets from My Craft Spot.
My sanitizer is from the dollar store, 2 in a package so 50 cents each!

Hello and Welcome to Day 2 of the Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer Hop!

Now if you are here from Crystal then you're in the right place, if not then you may want to start in the beginning.  If you get lost I have the entire line up below this post.

I got the Plane that can't Fly, so cute!  I think he is just so cute and can be used for many different occasions.  I used one of the new card bases from SVG Cutting Files and tied it shut with twine.  The sentiments are from the Christmas Banner Sentiments, the candy canes are from the Jingle All The Way stamp set both from My Craft Spot.  The twine is Maraschino from The Twinery.

I put the plane on an action wobble so he really moves!
