LeMoyne Star Quilt Card

I love the colors of this card, they are so warm and inviting.  The star was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge and then cut apart to make the diamond shapes.  Every other diamond shape is popped up.
The tag was made with the Ribbon Banners - Straight metal dies (I just cut the end off of it) and stamped with the new Fall Leaves stamp set, both from My Craft Spot.

And now for my project!
Can I just say how much I love this little bird!!!  Annie made hime perfectly!  He is from the short movie For The Birds, if you haven't watched it you have to it is so funny, it is only about 3 minutes long.  You can go here to watch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dq2dJcZBJA

I cut my bird at 3" tall and put him on 3 layers of foam tape, just on his bottom half.  That way the top flap just tucks in behind him.  The box is the Fold Over Box from SVG Cutting Files also you can get it here http://svgcuttingfiles.com/catalog.php?item=1557  I sized it at 9.015" tall and 4.290" wide and it holds the pack of gum perfectly.  The fun sentiment is from the Best Friends stamp set from Jaded Blossom.

Got Confused (Squirrel!) in the hop? Here is the complete line up to help you out!

My Craft Spot Challenge

Time for another challenge over at My Craft Spot.  The challenge this week is Blast from the Past.  So this cute little chef is from an old post.  I just love her for several reasons, she is just plain cute but also she reminds me of my daughter Lexi with her long black hair.  Lexi also loves to bake so when I made this card I did it with her in mind.
The little chef is from SVG Cutting Files What's Cooking cut file.  The paper is October Afternoon.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.

For my project I made a shaped card.  I took the pirate ship from the Pirates Life and turned it into a shaped card.  For the skull and cross bones on the sail I used the Pirate Ship cut file.  I cut my cute Maccus, if you can call him cute! at 2.5" tall and the ship at 5" tall.  I layered it together with foam tape for added dimension.   For the sentiment I used the V is for Villain stamp set and for the hook on the back of the card, I used the Villain Candies stamp set both from Jaded Blossom.

SVG Cutting Files Monthly Challenge

Two posts in one day...shocking I know!

Is it just me or is time just flying by?  I can't believe it is the middle of September already.  So with that being said, it is time for a new monthly challenge over at SVG Cutting Files.  The challenge this month is birthday card.  This is a great one since we all need birthday cards.
For my card I used the Belated Birthday Turtle file from SVG Cutting Files, you can get it here http://svgcuttingfiles.com/catalog.php?item=283.  He is so cute, I just love him!  I added a PK stamp for his face and a My Craft Spot stamp from the Tiny Tags set for the sentiment.  The sequins are the Pumpkin and the Jute string is orange also from My Craft Spot.  I also added glossy accents to his eyes.

Make sure to scroll down to check out the other post for today!
