Disney Villains Blog Hop

Welcome to the Disney Villains Black Friday Blog Hop. We have 2 Awesome Stamps that we are using today and they are Bundled at $25 and it includes FREE Shipping within the US!

Now if you are here from GiGi then you're in the right place, if not then you may want to start at the beginning.  If you get lost I have the entire line up below this post.

For my project, I chose Lots O Huggin Bear from Toy Story as my villain.  I know he looks way to cute to be a villain, but looks can be deceiving!  My 5 year old grandson Jackson was here and saw this card and he said "Hey I know who that is, it's Lotso!"  so I guess it does look like him!   So the cute bear cut is from SVG Cutting Files and will be one of the free files!!  The sentiments and candy stamps are from the new Jaded Blossom Villain stamp sets, so cute!!  They will go with all the new free cut files from SVG Cutting Files!!

I wanted my bear to be fuzzy looking, so I tried flock, it was to flat for what I wanted.  So I found Flower Soft, I could only find it in the light pink color, so I dyed the other color with my Re-Inkers.  I think it came out pretty darn close to the color of Lotso, don't you think?   I glued it down with glossy accents.

Next up on the Hop is Jenny.

Sale will start FRIDAY the 29th at 12am PST and run through Sunday 11:59 PM PST
"FREE FILES INFORMATION" The Files for this Villain Hop are available now until 7pm est. on Saturday, November 30, 2013.   NO EXCEPTIONS, so please make sure to get your email in on time.

Be Thankful Always Turkey Card

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you have a wonderful time!

I love this little turkey, he is so cute!  He is from the cut file Turkey Time from SVG Cutting Files, you can get him here.  I did him as a hybrid, print and cut with layers.  I did his hat, beak and waddle as layers.  I also added fun flock to his body to give him a little texture.  I welded him onto a rectangle to make a shaped card.

The stamp is from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set from My Craft Spot.  Notice the cute leaf shaped button?  I don't remember where I got these, I have had them forever and just not used them.

My Craft Spot Challenge

It's Challenge Monday over at My Craft Spot, and the challenge this week is shaped Christmas cards.  Well you know how I love shaped cards, so I was very excited for this one!
For my project I made a tree shaped card, it is a file from SVG Cuts.
I added stickles to the ornaments for some extra sparkle.

The tag was made with the Jar Basics Metal Dies and stamped with a stamp from the Mistletoe set.  I tied it on with Green Jute String.  The inside stamps are from the Joy Filled Christmas and Ornate Labels - Christmas stamp set.  All of these products are from My Craft Spot.

Happy Turkey Day Mini Cards and Box

I really love the colors of fall, they are just so soft and warm and remind me so much of Vermont.  For this project, I used the Harvest Handled Bag set from SVG Cutting Files, you can get it here.  I did it as a print and cut, I love this when you are in a hurry or have to make a bunch of them.  The background paper is a digital set I got a long time ago.  The cards are 3x3, so I shrunk down the images to fit the way I wanted.  I used one of my fonts to add the sentiment.

Notice the leaf button, it is the same shape as the leaves on the ribbon.

Happy 18th Birthday!

Well today is a bittersweet day for me, my baby girl turns 18.  First off I can't believe that I am that old and second that she is that old!  She is a senior in high school this year and such a great kid, we adore her!!  We adopted her when she was just 8 months old from China, one of the best things we ever did.   I am grateful every single day for her.  If she could see me right now she would be making fun of me as tears are streaming down my face.  You would think after all these years I would be over that, it is still tender to me.  I can not even begin to imagine our family with out her, she is the cherry on top!

This is her a month after we got her, we had fattened her up some.  So cute!

Here she is now, beautiful and happy and just plain AWESOME!!!!!

We love you baby girl!!  I hope you have a wonderful day!!

This is the card I made for her, it fits her personality, girly, bright and sparkly!

The stamps are from the Birthday Wishes set from My Craft Spot and Sweet Birthday Wishes from Jaded Blossom.

Farrah Gift Box

Look at her hair!!  Isn't it just awesome!  I love this little doll!  She is brand new and will be in the SVG Cutting Files store this Friday.  Her name is Farrah, so appropriate don't you think?  I cut her at 4" and added stickles to the white and liquid pearls for the berries on her shoes.

I got the container from Michaels clearance awhile ago thinking I would use it for something.  It has windows on both sides of the box.  There is no candy in there, because if I buy it before I give it away I eat it and have to buy it again!!

Moose-alicious birthday

This is a birthday card I made for my Mom, she loves anything with a moose on it.  Her house is filled with them, all kinds, sizes and textures she REALLY loves them.  So what better kind of card to give her than a moose card?
The cute moose and the card base are from SVG Cutting Files.  They are both new files, you can get the moose here and the card base here.

For the tag I did a print and cut with my cameo.

I glued down the edges of the small fold and made it a pocket to hold a gift card or money.

Christmas Window Card

Remember the tag I made a few days ago and said it was the leftover cuts of a card I made?  Well this is the card.  To see the tag go here.  That way you use almost everything and don't waste it.  This was made with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I made this with my friend Sue.  Love this girl, she is amazing!!

Notice the toothpick, that is glued to the back of the ornament for more stability.
