Birthday Dog Card and Box

Hi friends, I have a fun little card and box to share with you today. My little grandson has been begging me to get him a dog for his birthday. He would say it's okay my mom would have to let me keep it since it was a gift and on and on. Just begging and begging. It was so hard not to get him a dog, but I knew his mom didn't want to have to deal with one. So I made him this little dog shaped card and a dog house treat box. He loved it. He still wished it was real but he loved it.

The dog is a Lori Whitlock file and the dog house is from Sweet Afton both from the Silhouette store. I did change the box slightly, the bone was supposed to be cut out of the house but I released it and then made it larger and cut it out of white paper and put it above the door with pop dots.

Treat or Gift Box

This cute little box is another Stampin Up die. It is the Baker's Box Thinlits die. The stamp is also from Stampin Up. I then colored the flowers in with water color pencils and used gamsol to soften the blend the colors. I then outlined the image with a cool gray copic marker.

Happy Birthday Box

I'm BACK!!!! Africa was amazing and I loved the people and the animals but I am so glad to be back home!!! I am trying to get back to a normal life, well as normal can be now with all the craziness in the world. Spending time with family and catching up on some much needed crafting.

I made this little box for my sweet daughter in law for her birthday. I used the window box thinlets dies from Stampin Up. It was super fast and easy to do and I just love the detail on the box.

Thanks Fall Box

OOPS!!!  I completely forgot to post this before Thanksgiving...sorry!!  This would be a perfect little box to give a thank you to someone in or change the thanks stamp and make it a fall birthday gift box.  The file for this is from Cricut in the projects section.  It was so easy to make and I really love the leaf cutouts.  

Mother's Day Gift Boxes

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday!  I sure did!!  My husband made his famous spinach lasagna and the kids and grandkids came it was perfect!  ( Except for 2 families that didn't make it.)

I made these little boxes for my daughters for Mother's Day and filled them with...what else...chocolate!  They loved them.  I had a little trouble seeing to make them though, I had some eye surgery a week ago and am still not seeing very well.  So some of the things may have been a little crooked and off center.  The supplies for these are from Stampin Up.

Bunny Treat Purse

So since I didn't realize Easter was so soon...I have been making things like crazy and having to choose ones that were quick and easy.  This was one of those!  My little granddaughters will love the little purse full of treats!

Ghost Treat Box

This is a really fun and super quick little treat box.  It was a free file from the silhouette store, not sure if it is still free. 

Happy Birthday Box

For my project today I actually used an existing file and just added some hand cut shapes to the front. To show you how you can take a file and use it in so many different ways.  This box is the Cupcake Tall Box  from SVG Cutting Files I did awhile ago, get it here.  I did the base and the background piece from the cut file then I just hand cut some rectangles and used a punch for the border piece and stars and you have a completely different look.  I posted the original box below so you can see it.

Toad - ally awesome! Treat box

So these new chunky animals from SVG Cutting Files are so cute!!  I am seriously in love with them!  This chunky little guy will be in the store on friday and you can get him here.  They are super easy and fun to make so you will want to get all of them!!  Just saying!

Owl love you forever owl box

This is my last day as a guest designer for Jaded Blossom :( it has been really fun working with these girls.  For my project I made this super fun owl bag from cricut.  I used the You're a Hoot stamp set for the sentiment.  I really love owls so this stamp set is a must have, it has so many cute sentiments on it to go with owls.

Robot Treat Box

It is time for new monthly challenge over at SVG Cutting Files.  The theme this month is Valentines. This little Robot Heart Belly box is so simple and yet so cute to make anyone would love it.  You can get it here.  

Pumpkin Box

I know Halloween is over but pumpkins are also for fall...so these are my fall pumpkin treat boxes.  These were made with Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cricut cartridge.  I cut them at 6.25" height on my explore.  I used a marker to highlight the cut lines in the pumpkins and then inked the edges and the lines again.  That gave them a nice natural look.  These are small so depending on what you are going to put in them you may want to make them bigger.  As they are here they will hold about 6-7 hershey kisses, which for me is good then I don't use so much candy giving them away.

Gift Boxes

I just love these little boxes and they are little, they are only 2 x 2 but perfect for a small treat or gift.  They are from the Silhouette store and so is the flower.  The paper is all American Crafts.

London Guard Gift Box

When I saw this cute cut file, I just had to make it.  My son Andrew lived in London for 2 years and he will love this.  This is a new file that will be in the store on friday you can get it here.  I put him on the Tall Trapezoid Lock Box.  The sign is glued down and the guard is on foam tape.  His face is a PK stamp.

Turtle Box

Okay I know I make way to many 3D things...but I can't help it, I love them!!  This is from the Silhouette store and super quick and easy to make.  The paper is Bo-bunny and American Crafts.

Butterfly Box

I am really into butterflies right now for some reason.  I have bought several but not made them  up until this one.  It is cutout on all 4 sides and it has vellum in it so you can put a light in it,

 or use it as a treat box.  It is from the Silhouette store.

Happy Birthday

So today is this crazy guys birthday.  Happy birthday sweetie I love you!!  I met him when I was 14 a freshmen in high school and that was it as they say, the rest is history!  Now here we are 6 kids and 15 grandkids later and I still adore him!  He is truly an amazing person and I am grateful everyday for him.

 So this is one of the things I made him for his birthday it is a fishing hat treat box.   Remember from this post I told you how much he loves fishing.  I got this in the silhouette store.  It was actually easier to make than I thought it would be. 

This is the bottom and shows how the top stays on.

I am going to fill this with gummy worms I just didn't have them when I took the photos.

Purse Tote

This fun file is from Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette store.  I love this paper!!  I got it from American Crafts.  I thought it would be fun to add a tag connected to a little chain, gives it a different look.
