Easter Card

This card was made with an SVG file from SVG Cuts, I love their files they have super cute cuts. I used make the cut and my Cameo to cut it out. The flags and egg are all on pop dots the edges are all inked. The stamps used on the egg are from Stampin Up and colored in with SU markers. The twine is from the twinery, the paper is my mind's eye follow your heart, love this paper.

Bunny tag and Easter basket

Another little basket form TBBM2 cut as one piece at 5" and the bunny tag is from the same page cut at 3", the face is a peachy keen stamp I added glossy accents to the eyes and chalk for the cheeks. I tied it onto the basket with crinkle ribbon.

Easter Baskets

I made these with the new TBBM2 cart. that cart has so many cute boxes on it, and you know how I love 3D things! The tag was made with the Cricut craft room Happy Easter, I bought my first digital file! The edges are inked, glossy accents added to flowers and buttons and then glittered. The crinkle ribbon is some I made, just playing around didn't turn out to bad. The boxes were cut at 5" the bigger one was cut at 5" but in 2 sections. The egg was cut at 1.85" and the flowers were at 2" I think! Michele Kovak was my inspiration for these on the cricut blog. I had cut the boxes out but not done anything with them until I saw her post I even had the same paper! I wish I had her creativity also not just the same paper!!

You can get 2 boxes out of one 12x12 sheet of paper if you cut it in one piece at 5", that's not to bad.

Easter Easel Card

So these are my very first easel cards, I think they turned out okay. The first one was scored a little low so it leans back a little to far. They were made from two Lettering Delights svg files and made in make the cut and cut with my cameo. I cut 2 layers of the bow and the fence and layered them with pop dots, I added stickles to the center of the flowers. The little eggs are stickers haven't used stickers in forever. For the bow I ran it over my fingers to shape it a little bit. I got the inspiration for these from Joanna she has an amazing blog and makes the cutest things, check her out here. When it Rains it Pours!

This is an A2 size card, made with all Stampin Up paper. I cut the croc at 3" with it's layers, she is on pop dots. I drew her teeth on with a white gel pen. I added glossy accents around the croc and the umbrella to look like rain drops. The stamp is from My Craft Spot. I'm sending this to my little sister, she just had a small cancerous tumor removed from her lower eye lid for the second time.

Carson's Creations Embossing Blog Hop!

Welcome to Carson's Creations Embossing Blog Hop! I hope you have learned something new and had fun along the way. What is a blog hop without some blog candy?! The first picture is what I am giving away to one lucky person. You have until Sunday April 8th 2012 to leave a comment on this blog post to be entered. I will choose a winner Monday April 9th.

Two things you must do to be entered:

First leave a comment on this post
Second be a follower of my blog
That's it and you will be entered to win.

For my project I chose to do heat embossing, I stamped the image with versamark and then sprinkled on black embossing powder. Make sure you coat all the image and shake off the excess. Use a heat gun to set it, it almost looks like it is melting, then you are ready to color it in. I used my Stampin Up ink pads and Q tips to color my image, I found this worked better than sponges for making it more detailed. Just rub the Q tip on the ink pad in a circular motion and then rub on the image. I started with the parts I wanted to be the darkest since the ink was heavier at first, then blend out. You can use lighter colors or just use less pressure for highlights and such.

I hope you learned something new or got inspired to try something new today. For the next stop on the hop go here to see Pat ~ http://patsscraps.blogspot.com/
