Repost of Flower Box

This is a repost, I had it removed for publication in the March issue of Cricut Magazine.

Flower box and Frame

So this was a very hard choice to make for me, so my daughter made it for me. I made two projects for the Cricut Circle magazine challenge, which was to use Echo Park paper. Then I was having a hard time deciding which one to use my little girl chose the box.
Recipe:
flowers cut at 4" from art philosophy
leaves cut at 1.5", 1.25" from flower shoppe
all edges inked
painted the box white with a paper towel to give it an unfinished look
glued down paper with mod podge
hot glued netting and string pearls to back of flowers and glued them down
added stickles in the center of the flowers
paper Echo Park Victoria Gardens

This is the other project I did. The little people are cut from cricut decals boy 3", dog and baby 2", girl 2.5" everything was glued down with mod podge and then covered with it again. The wood frame was 1 dollar from Michaels. Paper Echo Park Splash.

Easter Treat Boxes - Repost

This is a repost, it had been removed for publication in the March issue of Cricut Magazine.

Easter Treat Containers

I made these for my DT day over at Creative Critterz Imaginations. The theme for the last 2 weeks has been Easter. I designed these in Cricut Craft Room. The box and grass is from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I sized the boxes at 6" and the grass at about 1.5" and filled them in with paper from the Imagine Blossom cartridge. I glued the boxes together and then added the grass tied ribbon or twine around that and then filled little bags with candy and put in the box. These went together super fast and are so easy. They would be a good project to do if you have to make a lot of something.

St. Patrick's Day Card - Repost

St. Patrick's Day Card

So this is being reposted, I had to remove it for publication in the March issue of Cricut Magazine.

I made this little guy in CricutCraft Room. I laid him out on the mats at 5" with his layers and just filled them in with colors for him. I welded two shadows together for the base. I ran his hat, jacket and hair thru the cuttlebug. All the edges are inked and the hat is two layers with the second layer on pop dots. The button and buckle havestickles on them. I made another one and he was kind of plain so I made this one and jazzed him up a bit. I have both pictures up for comparison.

Side view of the shaped card.

Here is the first one I made, cute but a little plain.

Here's what it looks like on the mats in Cricut craft room.
