Howdy Card

Here is another repost, it was removed for publication also.  It was published in the February issue of the Cricut Magazine.

This was made with the Create a Critter cartridge, I made the horse shoe 4 1/2" and welded in my gypsy, I used the octagon from George and Basic Shapes at 3.25" to fill in the back.  The horse is 2.25" and the howdy is 2" all welded together. The horse is popped up on the base. The paper for the base is from DCWV playtime stack, I flipped the base image so the lines would show like barn wood, the other paper is bo bunny.

Time for another challenge over at My Craft Spot!  This week's challenge is  "Wish Big!" birthday theme.  So come join the fun and make a birthday themed card or layout or whatever.

For my card today, I used a file from SVGCuts.  I love this company and their great files, they are just amazing and so fun.

The paper is from Crate Paper and American Crafts.  I inked all the edges and used foam tape for the front piece and the birthday.

The card does fold in on itself to become flat to fit into an envelope.

The stamps are from the  Birthday Wishes and the Tiny Tags stamp sets
from My Craft Spot.  The twine is called Lemon Drop and it is also from My Craft Spot.

Egg-ceptional bunny card

Making this bunny card, made me get really excited for spring to  come, especially since we have been in a deep freeze the past few weeks!

This sweet little bunny is from the newly released set, called Short Earred Bunny, from SVGCutiing Files.   So simple and easy to make and what a fun little shape.  To see the rest of the set go here.

Here is a close up of the sweet little bunny, all the edges are inked and the cheeks are chalked.
The stamp is from Stampin Up.

This is a shadow box style card and will fold flat, well it would if I hadn't put so much foam tape inside for depth and dimension.  It will fit into an A2 size envelope.

Heart Pillow Box

Pillow boxes are such an easy and fun way to give a little treat or gift.  I love this little box with the heart cut out, use some fun paper and it's done so easy.  I filled a little plastic bag with candy and put inside, but if you wanted to glue some clear plastic over the opening before gluing the sides together you could do that.

This is a new file from SVGCutting files, and the best part... it's on sale for 60 cents!!  That's right only 60 cents.  Go here to get it while it's still on sale!

The tag was cut with the Tiny Tags Metal Dies and stamped with the Tiny Tags  stamp set, the twine is Pink Sorbet, all of these products are from My Craft Spot.
