My Craft Spot Challenge #103 - Wrap it Up!

In case you haven't noticed, I love making 3D items, little boxes and gift bags and what not.  So this week's challenge at My Craft Spot is a favorite.  It is Wrap it Up! - packaging, gift boxes, bags etc. 

For my box, I used a cut file from the Silhouette store.  I used a sheet protector for the plastic covering of the cutout.  This is a super quick and easy project to make and the fun stamps and Lacy Banner Dies just finish it off.  I didn't have any cookies, (not because I ate them, although if I had some cookies I would eat them!) to put in the box, so it is empty.

The tag was made using the Lacy Banners Metal Dies and stamped with the Postage Stamps stamp set and tied on with Cherry Cupcake Twine.  All from My Craft Spot.

#1 Dad

This is the card I gave my hubby for father's day.  I made this in a class with my friend Sue.  The sentiment is printed from the computer.  The beautiful paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The paper gears were cut from the Artiste cricut cartridge.  The metal gear I got from my friend, she ordered them from online and had to order them in bulk.

Ballerina Party!

Okay I just have to say I LOVE this new file from SVG Cutting Files, so so cute!!!  This is one of the new Paper Dolls files that will be released on Friday.  It is the Paper Doll Body A Base Kit with the Ballet add on. 

For the card, I made it a shaped card.  I put the doll altogether and then made a shadow around her, made 2 and welded them together for the base.  I made her 5.5" tall with the layers sized with her. 

I painted stickles onto her skirt to make it look like tulle, and cut the crown out of gold paper.

Okay for these little cuties and the gift bag one, I put them all together and did a print and cut, just to show you how versatile these files can be.  The cupcake ones were sized at 2.5".

The gift bag was sized at 8".

My Craft Spot Blog Hop!

I hope you enjoyed this past week of new releases and are excited to get some of the new stuff!  It is awesome!  Make sure you look at all the photos, there are a lot.

For my project today I made a little beach tote and 4 little note cards and envelopes to go inside.  I had so much fun making this and hope you enjoy it!

The tote is from the Silhouette store.  The fun little tag was made with the Tiny Metal Dies and stamped with the new stamp set Stampin Around Summer, both from My Craft Spot.

I tied it on with Caribbean Crinkle Ribbon and Lemon Tart Twine both from My Craft Spot.

I tied the cards and the envelopes together with Twisted Teal Twine from My Craft Spot.

The cards are 2x3 very small but just the right size for a quick note.  The fronts of the cards were made with the Tiny Metal Dies and the Stampin Around Summer stamp set.  I then tied twine on each one, the orange is Orange Divine and the yellow is Lemon Tart.  All these products are from My Craft Spot.

I sized the envelopes in Silhouette DE to fit the little cards and stamped the outside with a stamp from the Stampin Around Summer set.

The card stock is American Crafts and the DP is Splash from Echo Park.

My Craft Spot New Stamp Release Day 5!

Wow, I can't believe this is day 5 already!  I told you there was some super cute new stuff!

  For this card I actually used a Cricut cartridge, shocking I know.  It is the Teddy Bear Parade for this little bear and he was cut at 3".  I actually got the idea for this bear from Mary at Cardz TV.  

The beautiful doily was cut with the new 4" Metal Die from My Craft Spot, so pretty and delicate.

The tag was made with the Tiny Tags Metal Dies and stamped with the new Tiny Tags 3 stamp set, both from My Craft Spot.   Love, love, love this new set, so many cute sayings!  I also used Lemon Tart Twine for the Bear's neck and Ivory Jute String for the button both from My Craft Spot.
