This is a folder made from a manila envelope.  All of the sentiments were printed from my computer. I used Birthday Bash and Celebrate with Flourish cricut cartridges.  This was made to go with these birthday cards, go here, here, here, here and here.  Obviously you can put any card in here, I just made these to match.

Happy Birthday!

I made this fun little card for my little grandson Tyler who just turned 2.  He is a sweet little boy and definitely a Grandma's boy, don't believe me, just ask him.
This idea came from the Cricut Magazine Birthdays, it was made by Roree Rumph.  She made it as a tag, so I changed it up a bit and made it a card.

 All the cuts are from Birthday Bash;
card 5.25"  2 tags welded together and hole removed
bear and wagon and all layers cut at 5"
paper and stickers are from Echo Park
The inside stamp is from My Craft Spot the Birthday Wishes stamp set

This never happens, but the stars were aligned just right for me today.  I had the same (except for the bear) papers and stickers she used and I didn't even go to the store, love that.

I had so much fun making this! My daughter is pregnant and we find out next week if it's a boy or a girl, but everyone is thinking girl, so I made this just in case. Everything is inked, the letters are on foam tape.

Celebrate!

As soon as I saw what the magazine challenge for the cricut circle was, this idea popped into my head. It's been done for awhile I was just waiting to post, I like to spread them out some. The challenge was a design challenge and I chose this one by Sue Neal, love her!!
letters .75" from Alphalicious
circle 3" george and basic shapes
scallop 4.5" mini monograms
presents 3.25" birthday bash (the octopus)
I designed this in my gypsy (tried in CCR, it was having a bad day) I welded the letters to the circle and sized everything to fit it. It is an A2 size card. The paper is DCWV the twine is from the twinery and the button is from Stampin Up.

Just My Luck

I've had the idea for this card for awhile now and after much trial and error I finally got it to come out half way decent. The base is from birthday bash at 4.5". The rainbow and pot are from simply charmed at 2.5". The sentiment is computer generated. I laid this all out in CCR so I could hide some cuts and weld a small piece onto the rainbow, since I wasn't cutting it with the gold.
I'm entering this in a few challenges;
My Craft Spot - Make me laugh
Go Fish picture challenge
Krafty Girls - St. Patrick's Day

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

I made this from Birthday bash and used the cricut craft room to make it. It took a little longer than it would have with my gypsy but I wanted to give it a try. It was cut at 4", the paper is from American Crafts, the ribbon is Stampin up.

I can't believe that my baby is sixteen today! I know this is crazy and my kids will all laugh at me, but I am tearing up as I post this. We adopted this sweet little girl when she was 8 months old. This photo is after we had had her a month and fattened her up some. She is beautiful inside and out. Every single day I give thanks for her and the gift of being her mother.

Happy Sweet Sixteen Lexi! I love you!

Hippo Birthday Card

I made this card for my little granddaughter who is turning 2 on Friday. It is an A2 size card. The paper is Bo-bunny and Cosmo Cricket. The hippo was cut at 3" the balloon at 2.5" I can't remember what size the 2 was. The hooray was cut at 3". The inside sentiment was cut at 4". I added glossy accents to the balloon and used twine for the bows and string. I made a little skirt out of tulle and glued it down. The little black parts for the hippo's face were way to small so I used googlie eyes and a marker. Everything is popped up. I'm entering this in the challenge at CTO which is you must use a balloon.

Make A Wish

I haven't posted much lately and I am sorry, this marathon training is taking it out of me. If I'm not running I'm thinking about and worrying about running. It will all be over soon the marathon is Oct. 1. I have been so worried that I won't be able to do it, but last Friday I ran 20 miles. I was slow but I did it and yes I was wiped out the rest of the day.

So on to the card, this was a fun and easy card to do. I made this in a class with Sue I've said it before and I'll say it again she is AWESOME!! The paper is Basic Grey, the sentiment from the computer.

Party Hats

My little girl made these party hats for her Dad's birthday. She cut the hats from birthday bash at fit to page and then used SU punches for the circles and cupcakes. I may have to get her her own cricut soon. She is starting to think my machine is hers! Well she actually has a cake machine and loves it, she makes cute toppers for her cupcakes.
