Gingerbread House Time!

Every year for...I'm not really sure how many years now maybe 5 we have the grandkids that can come over to decorate their own gingerbread house.  They love it and look forward to it.  It is wild and crazy and messy and sticky but so fun!  I also have cookies for them to decorate and eat right then.  We did 8 houses this year the 2 babies didn't do one and the kids that live far away.
Here are the results of this years houses.

  4. Hey Lois, I couldn't find another way to reach you so I will leave your answer here. I do other frosting 2 ways. first I just buy the tubes from Walmart in the cake decorating section and second I buy the tubs of vanilla frosting and fill plastic frosting bags and just snip the end off. I will also color some of that frosting to put in the bags. I try to do it so they all have at least one bag of frosting and some have 2, then they just share. It is a fun thing to do with them all they really love it. Have a wonderful Christmas!
