Halloween Tree

I wanted to do this tree last year, but never got my branches.  So this year I kept bugging my husband until he finally went out and cut me some dead trees and brought them home.  I trimmed them up and spray painted them black.  I made the pumpkin garland out of different sized circles and ovals and hand cut strips of brown paper for the stem.  I taped the brown on to the circles and put them in the order I wanted them and sewed them together leaving about 2" in between each one.  for the spider I used a cut file from the Silhouette store and put two together and sewed them together like the pumpkins.  When they were all sewn together, I folded the spiders into each other to make them more dimensional. I then just draped the two garlands over may tree.

I also made some dimensional pumpkins to hang on the tree.  These were made by taking 2 circles and sewing them together down the center.  Then taking two of these sets and gluing them together.  I first ran some twine thru a button and then place the twine in between these two sewn pieces and then glued them together.  The button at the bottom.  Then I added the hand cut stem and vine piece.
